When I was asked to illustrate the South Carolina Coast for a new puzzle from True South Puzzles, I jump at the opportunity. I have been to only a portion of this gorgeous coastline, so I was eager to research and learn more about all the little details of this area. The South Carolina coast is sandwiched between 2 hot spots on either end, Myrtle Beach to the north border with North Carolina and Hilton Head to the south border with Georgia. In between is a undulating coast line of wetlands, wildlife, lighthouses, historic sites, outdoor activities and some unique cultures waiting to be explored.
